Ginger is ideal for lightening scars due to its active ingredient—the Antioxidant gingerol, which not only fights skin-damaging free radicals, but also promotes a Smooth and even skin tone. Mix some crushed Ginger with Lemon Juice to complement its benefits. Vitamin C  is vital for collagen production, which can help heal scars while plumping the skin and reducing the effects of sun damage. Apply the mixture on your dark spots only (Lemon juice can be too abrasive to use on the full face), and let it dry before you rinse it off. It gives a rejuvenating and glowing appearance.
